Terms of Service
Last updated: 18 October 2026
These Terms govern your use of Lawha Club (the “Service”). By purchasing a spot or using the Service you agree to them. DRAFT — subject to review by qualified UAE counsel before launch.
1. Novelty entertainment only
The Service is a digital novelty leaderboard. A “spot” is a temporary display position on our website showing an original artwork plate and a short profile. It is purely for entertainment and personal expression (“bragging rights”).
A spot is not a vehicle number plate, licence, registration, special number, or any right recognised by any authority, and cannot be used on any vehicle or presented as such.
2. No affiliation
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), Dubai Police, the Government of Dubai, any other emirate, or any UAE federal or local government entity. All plate graphics are original designs and contain no official emblems, coats of arms, or registration formats.
Optional emirate styles for personalised plates (for example “Dubai style” or “Classic”) are our own artwork loosely inspired by general layout and colour. They use our own fonts, never include emblems, crests, falcons, flags or official logos, always carry the NOVELTY band, and show the emirate name only as a plain text label with the word “STYLE”. Choosing a style does not mean any emirate or authority endorses or is connected with the Service.
3. How ranking works
You may buy any rank from 1 to the next open rank. An open rank costs its published opening price. An occupied rank costs at least its current price plus the published step shown at checkout, and never less than its opening price. This minimum is shown before you pay. When you buy rank k, you are placed at k and every holder at rank k or below moves down one rank. A rank can be taken over any number of times and there is no lowest rank: holders keep moving down as new purchases arrive.
You may choose to pay more than the minimum (“hold your spot longer, pay more”). The amount you choose is fixed before payment and becomes the price of your spot, so anyone who later takes it pays at least that amount plus the step. Paying more does not guarantee how long you keep a spot and gives no other benefit.
If another purchase completes for the same rank while your payment is processing, you will be placed at the best rank your payment covers. Ranks may change at any time as other users buy spots.
4. No resale, no investment, no gambling
Ranking spots are personal and non-transferable, and cannot be resold, assigned, exchanged, or redeemed. Personalised plates can only be handed over free of charge as described in section 6d. They have no monetary, investment, or resale value and we make no promise of any return. We do not pay anyone when they are displaced.
The Service involves no chance element and is not a lottery, raffle, contest, wager, or game of chance. Minimum prices are published and shown before purchase, and any higher amount is chosen by you before you pay.
5. Payments and refunds
Prices are in UAE Dirhams (AED) and processed by our payment provider. Payment buys the display placement at the moment of purchase. No refund is due when you are moved down or off the top positions by other purchases — that is how the ranking works.
If we reject your content at moderation, or remove it for breach, we will either let you correct it or flag the purchase for refund at our discretion, less any non-recoverable processing fees where permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under UAE consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
6. Content rules
Everything you submit (name, plate text, motto, link) is reviewed before display. Content must comply with UAE law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 on Combating Rumours and Cybercrimes and applicable media content standards.
Not allowed: profanity or insults; defamation of any person; political content or reference to rulers, royal families, or governments; religious content or anything offensive to any religion; sexual or adult content; hate speech or discrimination; drugs, alcohol promotion, gambling, weapons; impersonation of officials, authorities, or brands; scams, financial or crypto promotion; personal data of others; anything infringing intellectual property; links to unsafe or unlawful sites.
We may refuse, edit, hide, or remove any content or spot at any time, and suspend users who breach these rules.
6a. Digital Collection plates
A Digital Collection (personalised) plate is a code and number combination (for example “AA 777” or “12 34567”; the code is one or two letters or a one- or two-digit number) shown as original novelty artwork. Each combination is sold once on this site. It is not ranked on the Board and cannot be displaced by other buyers.
“Ownership” means the exclusive right to display that combination with your profile on Lawha Club. It confers no right to any real vehicle registration and has no resale, investment or monetary value. Short combinations (one letter with one or two digits) carry a published rarity premium. Prices follow the published rarity rules and are fixed before payment.
We hold a searched plate for a short time while you pay. If payment completes after the hold expired and someone else already bought the plate, we refund you in full.
6b. Most Expensive Five
The “Most Expensive Five” board lists the five plates with the highest recorded value, ranking spots and personalised plates alike, followed by runners-up. The recorded value is the price paid plus any value top-ups (section 6e). Equal values keep the earlier purchase ahead. It is a display order only.
Personalised plates (with a code prefix) are kept by their owner permanently. When a plate with a higher price paid arrives, the plates below it each move down one place on this board, but every personalised plate stays with its owner. Nobody can take a personalised plate away from its owner.
Ranking spots (rank number only, no prefix) can be taken over any number of times. Each takeover moves the previous holder and everyone below down one rank, with no lower limit (see section 3). A ranking spot appears on this board while it is held at the price paid for it. A place on the Most Expensive Five board carries no reward, payment, or other benefit.
6c. Collector Extras and shipping
Optional physical extras are made to order and shipped to the address you give at checkout. Delivery times are estimates. Risk passes on delivery. Limited editions are first come, first served.
Physical extras that arrive damaged or are not delivered will be replaced or refunded. Personalised items cannot be returned for change of mind, unless consumer law in your country gives you that right.
6d. Handing over personalised plates (transfers and gifts)
The owner of a personalised plate can hand it over to another person from My Plates, or buy a new personalised plate as a gift. The recipient gets an email with a private link that is valid for 14 days and must sign in with that email address to accept or decline. A plate can have only one pending hand-over at a time, and the sender can cancel it while it is pending. If the recipient declines, or the link expires, the plate stays with the sender (for a gift, with the buyer).
Hand-overs on Lawha Club are always free. There is no price field, no listing, no marketplace and no fee or commission, and we never handle any payment for a hand-over. Any arrangement between users is private between them. We do not facilitate, arrange, take part in or guarantee any sale or exchange between users, and we are not a party to it.
A personalised plate carries no investment value and no guarantee of any value, price or return, now or in the future. When a hand-over is accepted, a new Certificate of Ownership is issued to the new owner and earlier certificates are shown as superseded on the verification page. Earlier owners are listed in the plate's ownership history by display name, or as “Private” if they chose that. The new owner's profile is subject to the content rules in section 6. Ranking spots cannot be handed over.
6e. Value top-ups
The owner of a personalised plate can pay an extra amount (at or above the published minimum) through the normal checkout. A top-up only raises the plate's recorded value, which can change its position on the Most Expensive Five board. It gives no other right or benefit, is not a deposit or stored balance, cannot be withdrawn, and stays with the plate if it is handed over. Each top-up is a separate purchase with its own invoice, and section 5 applies to it.
7. Links
You may add one website (http or https only) and an optional link name that is shown under your name instead of the domain. Link names follow the content rules in section 6. Links are displayed with rel=“nofollow ugc noopener”. We are not responsible for third-party sites.
8. Liability
The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your most recent spot.
9. Changes and law
We may update these Terms; continued use means acceptance. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the UAE, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction. [Operator entity, trade licence number and address to be inserted.]
